Who Knew Sewing was So Hard!

After many hours, and modifying the patter to just work for our little munchkin Phoebe's Halloween costume is done. Pictures to follow :)

Now just on to the baby blankets and Phoebe's Christmas present.

Project Runway Here I Come....

So Halloween for me has always been about homemade costumes. Growing up my mom made my costume almost every year. So this year I decided to attempt to make Phoebe's. My sister in law is storing her sewing machine at my house and so I dug it out. I am making Phoebe a monkey costume below is a picture of the pattern. I will try and post the finished results when I am done.

We have been going to a number of baseball games this summer, even though I normally don't pay too much attention to the game I love going.

We Have Arrived!

Phoebe and I made it to the middle of nowhere aka Roosevelt Minnesota. Phoebe's first trip was an eventful one, it took us a total of 18 hours to get from Orem Utah to Roosevelt Minnesota. But she was a trooper and didn't have a sinlge meltdown. To summarize, our flight to Minneapolis was delayed 3 hours, which made us miss our connection, so we ended up with a 4 hour layover, and didn't get into Grand Forks until 9ish, then came the drive to Roosevelt. But we are tired but alive!
